A modified liquidation is a streamlined way to clear a home of items that have value, responsibly rehome what we can, remove the rest, and professionally clean the property. Most modified liquidations take about 10 to 12 days, making them an ideal option when time is of the essence.
A modified liquidation can also be a great solution when a traditional estate sale is not practical because of HOA restrictions, limited parking, neighborhood rules, a tight timeline, or an urgent need to clear the property.
So, How Does It Work?
We contract with you, for a fee, to organize and stage the items in the home, presenting them in the best possible way for our buyers.
Once everything is organized and staged, we invite buyers from our network of resellers to shop the home by scheduled appointment. This gives us a more controlled and efficient way to connect the right buyers with the items they are looking for.
You do not have to photograph, list, negotiate, haul, or haggle. We handle it.
Proceeds from merchandise sold are applied toward your service fee according to the terms of our agreement. Once the service fee has been satisfied, you receive your share of subsequent merchandise sales.
After the shopping appointments are complete, we donate what we can, remove everything that remains, and professionally clean the home.
